Updated Faq & Rules

Sun Dec 21, 2008, 10:45 AM
Thank you sooo sooo much for coming here and checking out my resources. I love seeing one more download or one more view on my stats. Here are a few FAQs and rules for you to ponder at and follow.

Rules

:bulletred: :bulletpurple: :bulletblue: :bulletgreen: :bulletred: :bulletpurple: :bulletblue: :bulletgreen: :bulletred: :bulletpurple: :bulletblue: :bulletgreen: :bulletred: :bulletpurple: :bulletblue: :bulletgreen:
1: None of my brushes or work can be used for commercial use. Which means you can not download or take them, and sell them or use them in any way, shape, or form to make a profit. But, it is alright to use them for an art piece that you will sell on Deviant Art. Now, for other websites or commercial use where a profit is being made, then you will pay a small fee. Please note me for further details if you are planning on doing that.
If you choose not to follow this rule, I will take legal action and I will win. Trust me. :D

2: Always link back to my deviant front page if you use any of my work. It's not too hard to put a little link right next to whatever you may use my brushes or textures for. It really isn't.

3: Give me a link to where you used them. Just put a link on my front page here in a comment box. Or send me a note with a link. I'd love to see how you use them. It feeds the muse :hungry:

4: Never ever claim that you made any of my work. I WORKED VERY HARD TO MAKE EVERYTHING HERE, AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO BE CLAIMING ANY OF IT AS YOUR OWN.

5: Always credit Sam whenever and wherever you use them.

6: Do not take anything from here and redistribute it for download anywhere else.
If you choose not to obey these rules, my lawyer can gladly show you what it's like to live in hell.

FAQ

1: Help me! I don't use Paint Shop Pro, how do I install these brushes into my photoshop? How do I upload these brushes into an earlier version of PSP?
Click here It's a very useful tutorial to explain how to install photoshop brushes. If you want to install custom brushes from an image, open the image you want to turn into a brush, go to Edit>Define Brush Preset, and the rest is self explanitory. With PSP, just get the image you want to turn into a brush, then go to File>Export>Custom Brush.

2: Do you take requests for brushes or textures?
Yes. And I'll do my best to make it to your liking.

3: I wish to sell an art piece that I used your brushes in. May I do that?
Under certain circumstances. Please ask if you want to sell art with my brushes. I will most likely give permission. But you MUST ask me. AND ALWAYS GIVE CREDIT TO ME FOR THE BRUSHES.

If you need further help, don't be afraid to ask. I'll do my best to get any questions answered.

Better news

Thu Nov 8, 2007, 10:30 PM
It's November 9th, and my daughter is over 3 months old now, and she's doing great. She's even sleeping through the entire night. So now I'll just be busy with her for the next.....few years or so... But I'll try to find some time to make up some new brushes or textures. It's just so difficult with a baby to have any time for myself.

Not so good news

Wed Aug 22, 2007, 3:07 PM
August 5th I had my daughter. She was a week early. 10 pounds 1 ounce. And no, I didn't have a c-section :D

I really thought she'd be a completely healthy and normal baby. Unfortunately, that was not the case. She was born with a severe lung infection. She had to be kept in the Infant Intensive Care Unit while she tried to get better. My boyfriend and me figured she'd be in there 3 days at the most. Then slowly it turned into 10 days. She finally was taken off the antibiotics and released when she was 10 days old. She has to be on oxygen 24/7, and has to wear an apnea monitor in case she stops breathing. This could last 1 week, or it could last 6 months. We just don't know.
So, I'm sorry to say I won't be able to make new brushes or textures for a while. Taking care of an ill infant isn't easy. And I wont be on here much to answer questions and such. But I'll try to check up every chance I get.

So, if anyone has questions or comments, don't hesitate to speak them. I will try to help you if you need help. It just might take a day or two to get a response from me.
For reference though, check here [link] to see if any of your questions are already answered.

And please follow the rules I stated.

New development

Sun Mar 25, 2007, 10:01 PM
To all my watchers and folks who stop by,

On March 23 I found out I'm pregnant, and since I have to focus most of my energy on keeping in touch with my boyfriend, finding a place to live with him, and getting my school work done, I probably won't be submitting many, if any, brushes or resources for quite a while. I'm estimating that I'm about 2 to 3 months along right now. So, don't get your hopes up too much for the next couple of months and expect new brush sets. As much as I love making them, unfortunately I really won't have much time to for quite a while.
But please, if y'all have any questions or comments for me, don't hesitate to say them. Because I always enjoy hearing from you, and I'll try to answer any questions you might have.
